Why Rolfing®
Have you ever imagined living in a body that is flexible, balanced, and free from pain, stiffness, and chronic stress?
Rolfing can help your body regain its natural form, improve posture, ind increase freedom of movement. This can make you feel more comfortable with your mind, body, and soul, giving you the power to face life’s challenges with ease.
“Engaging the clients with body awareness and movement...I teach clients to relax and to enquire deeply within, support movement repatterning ...empowerin them to be their own healer.”
Rolfing structural integration works on the complex of connective tissues to release, realign, and balance the whole body, thus potentially resolving discomfort, reducing compensations, and alleviating pain. The practitioner uses their hands, knuckles, and elbows on specific body areas, focusing on the connective tissue to release tension and tightness.
The main idea that organizes this fantastic form of bodywork is when a body is out of alignment with gravity it can not function properly. This can lead to structural dysfunction, reduce quality of life, and increase the possibility of pain. When we are in alignment with the Earth’s gravitational field the human body operates better. The body is so plastic that its alignment can be brought into better harmony with gravity at practically any time of life through Rolfing.
